ಎಚ್ಚೆಮ್, ಪೆರ್ನಾಲ್ ಕಾವ್ಯನಾಮದಿಂದ ‘ಕಿಟಾಳ್’ ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಅಂತರ್ಜಾಲ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ‘ಆರ್ಸೊ’ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮುದ್ರಣ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ, ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಕವಿ, ಕಥೆಗಾರ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಮರ್ಶಕ ಹೆನ್ರಿ ಮೆಂಡೋನ್ಸಾ ಇವರು, ‘ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪತ್ರಿಕೋದ್ಯಮ’ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ, ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ 2023 ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕೊಂಕಣಿ, ಕನ್ನಡ ಹಾಗೂ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಭಾಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 80 ರ ದಶಕದಿಂದ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹೆನ್ರಿ ಮೆಂಡೋನ್ಸಾ, ಈವರೆಗೆ ಸುಮಾರು 750 ರಷ್ಟು ಕವಿತೆ, 100 ಕ್ಕೂ ಮಿಕ್ಕಿ ಸಣ್ಣಕತೆ, ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 2,000 ಕ್ಕೂ ಮಿಕ್ಕಿ ಲೇಖನ, ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂಕಣ ಬರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಎರಡು ಕಥಾ ಸಂಕಲನ, ಮೂರು ಕವನ ಸಂಕಲನ ಹಾಗೂ ಒಂದು ವಿಮರ್ಶಾ ಸಂಕಲನ – ಈ ವರೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ವಿಶ್ವ ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ವಿಮಲಾ ವಿ ಪೈ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರ, ಕವಿತಾ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಮಥಾಯಸ್ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಕಾವ್ಯ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ ಗೌರವ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
2011 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕಿಟಾಳ್.ಕೊಮ್ ಅಂತರ್ಜಾಲ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ, 2013 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಆರ್ಸೊ ಮಾಸ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು 2014 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕಿಟಾಳ್ ಪ್ರಕಾಶನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಬರಹಗಾರರ ಕೃತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಯುವ ಬರಹಗಾರರನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಉತ್ತೇಜನ ನೀಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ 2012 ರಿಂದ ಶ್ರೀ ಲಿಯೋ ರೊಡ್ರಿಗಸ್ ಕುಟುಂಬ ದತ್ತಿ ಕಿಟಾಳ್ ಯುವ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು 2021 ರಿಂದ ಶ್ರೀ ಆಸ್ಟಿನ್ ಪ್ರಭು ಕುಟುಂಬ ದತ್ತಿ ಆರ್ಸೊ ಪತ್ರಿಕೋದ್ಯಮ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರ ವನ್ನು ಹಿರಿಯ ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತರನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಕೊಡಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಕಿಟಾಳ್. ಕೊಮ್ ಇದರ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಕ/ ಸಂಪಾದಕರಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಕವಿ ವಿಲ್ಸನ್, ಕಟೀಲ್ ಸಂಪಾದಕರಾಗಿರುವ ಆರ್ಸೊ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಕರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಬುದಾಬಿಯ ನಿವಾಸಿ , ಅನಿವಾಸಿ ಉದ್ಯಮಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಮೈಕಲ್ ಡಿ’ಸೊಜಾ ‘ವಿಶನ್ ಕೊಂಕಣಿ’ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸಂಪಾದಕರಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಹೊಸ ದೆಹಲಿಯ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಭಾಷಾ ಸಲಹಾ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾಗಿಯೂ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ನೆಹರೂ ಮೈದಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ನಡೆಯುವ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ಸಚಿವ ಶ್ರಿ ದಿನೇಶ್ ಗುಂಡೂರಾವ್, ಗಣ್ಯರ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನಾಂಕ 1, ನವೆಂಬರ್ 2023 ರಂದು ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮಾಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
